If posh, well-read people singing seductive songs is your fetish then we have a treat for you.
This is Out of the Blue – Oxford University’s all-male a cappella group – with their latest cover, Santa Baby.
The classic tune, originally performed by Eartha Kitt, is a Christmas staple, but… it’s usually performed by a woman rather than a group of blazer-clad lads.
Don’t despair – they soon loose the blazers and channel American Beauty in this scene.Back to the library with you! (Picture: SWNS)
Don’t let the odd song choice put you off – these guys have talent (and manage to fit in making these videos while studying at one of the most prestigious universities in the world).
Of course most bands don’t get to use the beautiful buildings of Oxford University as a backdrop to their music videos, which probably helps with the filming.
Out of the Blue donate all profits made from their videos to charity, and last year they managed to raise £10, 000 for children’s hospice Helen and Douglas House in Oxford after their cover of Shakira’s Hips Don’t Lie racked up six million hits.
(And yes, this one also contains mild nudity)
Law undergrad Deon Fang, 22, said: ‘We’ve had a relationship with the hospice for around eight years now, we often go down and sing and perform for the kids who are there.
‘Because it’s local, and we see the great work they do up close with the kids who we know, it does make it all the more special that the money we make will be going directly to them – to the kids who need it most.
