Major Gregory W. McMillion
Born in Cincinnati, Ohio. Upon enlistment into the United States Marine Corps in 1990 as a field artillery cannon crew member, he deployed to Southwest Asia in support of Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm with E 2/10 out of Camp Lejeune, NC. He then enlisted into the Army in 1994, and was assigned to A 2/377th FA (ASSLT) and 1/39th (AIRBORNE) at Fort Bragg, NC. Upon completion of a tour at Camp Casey, Korea from 1998-1999, Major McMillion then made the transition from Regular Army to the Ohio National Guard with the 1/324th MP Co, and joined Xavier, Ohio ROTC Program in 2000. Major McMillion commissioned in 2002 as a chemical officer then was assigned to HHC 5/8 FA at Fort Riley, KS in April 2003. After completing the Captain Career Course in 2006 he was assigned to 1st TSC (Theater Support Command) at Fort Bragg, NC from 2006 – 2008. He was then assigned to Charlie Company, 22nd Chemical Battalion from 2008 - 2012. Major McMillion was then assigned to 1st Army Division East from 2012 – 2014. Major McMillion retired from active duty in 2012 then applied for a JROTC SAI position at Cypress Lake High School.
Master Sergeant (MSG) Todd Scott
Born and raised in, New York and in 1989 enlisted into the U.S. Army as a Technical Engineering Specialist. MSG Scott has been assigned to numerous forts to include but not limited to: Fort Bragg, NC; Ft. Leonard Wood, MO; Fort Polk, LA and finally retiring out of Fort Benning GA. Additionally, MSG Scott has had overseas assignments/deployments to Germany, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Iraq. During his tenure he has held various leadership positions to include Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant, Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of the Technical Engineering School, and Battalion Operations NCO. In 2010, after 21 years of service MSG Todd Scott honorably retired and moved to Fort Myers where he is an Army JROTC Instructor at Cypress Lake High School.
Sergeant Major (SGM) Levi Bennett
Teaches Leadership Education and Training Level 1at Cypress Lake High School. He served 24 years in the US Army in mainly Armor units in Germany, Egypt, Korea, Kuwait, Iraq and numerous stateside Army bases.
